The Po Po

It’s funny how I pull genuinely new awesome thoughts of the air and then someone gets credit for it:

Conservatives Shouldn’t Defend Cops Anymore

I’ve been saying this for, oh, I don’t know . . . 3 years at least. But some guy at National Review gets the attention and paid for writing it. Granted, some of the comments aren’t exactly flattering of his position. But hey, I’m a big boy I could’ve taken it had I written it for NR.

Police are:
–anti-gun.
–anti-rights.
–anti-transparency.
–pro-union.
–pro-bully.
–pro-militarization.

Do I need to go on?

In my Govicide novels, the Masses are lulled into the same kind of behavior we conservatives have taken nicely to: Defending the law enforcers no matter what the case, it seems. The Masses defend the Govicide Department despite its thuggery and arrogance. And they often do it to their own detriment.

We as conservatives have to be smarter than that. The police don’t need our defense–they have their guns, their unions, their power–that should be enough.
